Head coach Eddie Jones is convinced since they prepare for Thursday’s game four times after fighting with past Tonga his reshuffled England staff will cope with their turnaround.

“We’ve done a fair bit of homework to this turn up,” Jones told BBC Sport.
“We trialled a four-day turnaround against Japan last fall, to ensure that the gamers have experience of this.”

Jones stated:”We had a variety of discussions, and I’m really proud of the way Dan has struggled his way back.
“At one point it was likely to be hard for him to visit the World Cup.
“We gave him a range of things he had to work , he went away and worked on them tremendously difficult, therefore it is a great achievement for him and his loved ones.
“To receive 91 caps tight-head for your country – particularly England, which is this type of scrummaging powerhouse – gives an indication of his influence on the sport.”
Ford is enjoying a series of begins as Jones favorite Owen Farrell in 10 using a Manu Tuilagi/Henry Slade combination at 34, having sat on the bench.
