Head-Maarek backing Enable for historic third Arc win

Legendary French coach Criquette Head-Maarek will probably be cheering Enable in her bid to win the Qatar Prix de lArc de Triomphe for a third time.
Head-Maarek saddled the mighty Treve to raise Europes premier race in 2013 and 2014.
Head believes Enable is the ideal horse to finish the task on Sunday, although treve fell short in her quest for an when fourth to Golden Horn in 2015.
I hope she wins and that I will be there to see it – I believe she is an extraordinary horse, and she recalls every thing, said Head-Maarek, who wed in February 2018 after a highly-successful career spanning almost 40 years who comprised an earlier Arc success with Three Troikas at 1979.
If she beats Treves album, Ill be very delighted.
Treve was beaten by Golden Horn, but it was nothing to be ashamed of. Of course you want to win, however it is very difficult for a horse to win the Arc 3 occasions.
I hope this year Empower will be able to do it.
Head, currently full of respect for John Gosdens superstar, added:She has done matters Treve never did.
Shes travelled all over the world. She won the Breeders Cup at America after the Arc and that was something no one had done previously.
Then she has won the King George twice. She is the very best horse Ive seen in years and years.
John is a fantastic trainer, and Frankie Dettori is a wonderful jockey, so everything is there.
I coached for her owner Prince Khalid from 1979 till I retired. He.
He is a charming guy and he is really simple to take care of. He wants to win that race again.
You like it once you find that sort of animal running. You go racing to observe the excellent ones and the big ones, maybe not the claimers or even the handicap horse.
Racing is fantastic for this, and it will be a wonderful afternoon on Sunday.
Head-Maarek has appeared through the field in search of potential dangers to the hot favorite, but cant see any horse.
I believe that the most important threat for me with the French horses could function as (Prix du) Jockey Club winner Sottsass, but we do not know exactly his values, she said.
I really dont believe the Niel has been a great race, quality wise. You have to beat against superior horses .
Andre Fabre has a big yard, along with his only runner is Waldgeist. Hes a fantastic horse and consistent. He could be in the first four or five, although he hasnt got Enables class. Andre knows what to do to have a horse ready at the ideal moment.
Head-Maarek notes too there is, as a strong challenge that is global, naturally.
You have (Aidan) OBriens horses, she said.
Magical is really a good filly, and Japan really is really a good horse – but mentioning that, I believe that the filly (Enable) is far better than people on what I have seen.
The Japanese horses, we do not understand them really well.
Everybody will be on the lookout for her to acquire. A record needs to be defeated. Two wins is 1 thing, but 3 will be better.
Just fillies can do it, since if colts win the Arc two, they go to stud – so theres absolutely no way.
Youve got the ideal horse to do it this year. For me, shes the best of this field.
Permit will race out of stall nine of their 12 runners, but Head-Maarek considers the draw is irrelevant – particularly into a horse of the skill.
I won the Arc using a horse drawn in 22. At the distance, 2400 metres, the draw doesnt mean anything, she said.
Shes really able of waiting, capable to go in front and is capable of accomplishing lots of things. She doesnt need anybody.
Frankie is indeed excellent. He knows Longchamp enjoy his pocket. Nobody will see , if she goes ahead.
She is that type of horse – you can do anything with. Shes really straightforward.
