Head-Maarek backing Enable for historic third Arc win

Famous Enable will cheer in her bid to win the Qatar Prix de lArc de Triomphe for a third time.
Head-Maarek saddled the Treve to raise Europes premier all-aged middle-distance race.
Head feels Enable is the correct horse to complete the task, although treve fell short in her quest for an unprecedented hat-trick when fourth to Golden Horn at 2015.
I hope she wins and I will be present to see it – I believe shes an extraordinary horse, and she recalls every thing, said Head-Maarek, who retired in February 2018 following a highly-successful career spanning almost 40 years that comprised an earlier Arc success with Three Troikas at 1979.
If she beats Treves album, I will be very happy.
Treve was beaten by Golden Horn, but it was nothing to be embarrassed of. Its very tough for a horse to win three occasions to the Arc, although Obviously you need to win.
it is my hope that this year Enable are going to be able to do it.
Head, currently full of respect for John Gosdens superstar, added:She has done items Treve never ever did.
She has travelled all around the world. She won the Breeders Cup at America after the Arc calendar year, and that was something nobody had done previously.
Then shes won the King George twice. For me, she is the best horse I have seen in years and years.
John is a wonderful coach, and Frankie Dettori is a wonderful jockey, therefore whats there.
I trained for her proprietor Prince Khalid from 1979 till I retired. Hes the customer Ive known.
Hes a charming man and he is really easy to take care of. He wants to win that race with Enable.
You enjoy it when you see that sort of creature running. You go racing to find the large ones, maybe not the claimers or even the disability horse and the good ones.
Racing is excellent for that, and itll be a great day on Sunday.
Head-Maarek has emerged to the favourite through the area in search of potential dangers, but cannot find any horse.
I think the main threat for me with all the French horses could function as (Prix du) Jockey Club winner Sottsass, but we do not know precisely his values, she explained.
I dont think the Niel was a great race, so quality wise. You have to conquer horses that are much better .
Andre Fabre has a huge yard, and his single runner is Waldgeist. He is consistent and a fantastic horse. He could be in the first five or four, although he has not got Enables course. Andre knows what to do to have a horse ready at the right moment.
There is, needless to say, as ever a powerful international challenge.
You have got (Aidan) OBriens horses, she explained.
Magical is a fantastic filly, and Japan is a fantastic horse – but mentioning that, I believe the filly (Enable) is far superior than those on what Ive seen.
The Japanese horses, we dont understand them really well.
Everyone will be on the lookout for her to acquire. A record needs to be defeated. Two wins is 1 thing, but three will be better.
Just fillies can do it, since if colts win the Arc two, they visit stud – so there is no manner.
You have got the right horse to do it this season. For me, shes the finest of this field.
Permit will race from stall nine of those 12 runners, but Head-Maarek believes the draw is irrelevant – particularly to a horse of her ability.
I won the Arc using a horse attracted in 22. At that distance, 2400 metres, the draw doesnt mean anything, she explained.
Shes able of waiting, able to go ahead and can be capable of performing many things. She doesnt need anyone.
Frankie is so great. He understands Longchamp enjoy his pocket. No one will see , if she goes ahead.
Shes that type of horse – you can do anything with. She is really easy.
