David Prutton’s Sky Bet EFL predictions
Who is this weekend being tipped for success in the Sky Bet EFL by David Prutton? Learn here…
This ought to be a affair! MK Dons come back in League One and making a good fist of it was relegated a couple of seasons ago in fashion.
AFC Wimbledon, as I’ve mentioned before, enjoyed a miraculous survival last season and are set for another season of battle. In which it was cut by MK penalties, these two have met from the Carabao Cup last month. I think that they will win this one.
Prutton predicts: 2-1 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
Both these sides might be in a bit of a false position due to their lack of games so far. Each side has played four, which explains the reason why they currently find themselves in mid-table.
Doncaster are under Darren Moore, who’s had a good beginning regardless of the lack of several key players – . Rotherham are readjusting to the level and you’d expect them to put up a promotion obstacle. Score draw for me.
Prutton forecasts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
Three wins in your home – or at their home! – and – three draws on the street for Coventry far. Hence the form guide would suggest this must be three factors to get Mark Robins’ facet.
This is by far their toughest challenge in St Andrew’s. Blackpool will also be unbeaten, but also have drawn on their final three. I elaborate them, but to advantage this one.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
Just Wycombe drawn every game on the road and have also won their home games so far this season. This, however, can also be their biggest challenge, with only faced Southend, Bolton along with MK Dons.
Lincoln have appreciated a brilliant start to the season and go. The Cowley brothers have once again been linked with a different transfer this week and, in the very least, their preparations could have unsettled. Home triumph for me.
Prutton predicts: 2-1 (9/1 with Sky Bet)
Carlisle got their first win since the opening day weekend, to lift them and ease a bit of the strain onto Steven Pressley. Those three factors did come from Scunthorpe who have been dreadful up to now.
Exeter have been flirting for quite a very long time, and they’ve had a strong start this year. They are top of the league and unbeaten so far and I really don’t find that changing here.
Prutton forecasts: 1-3 (22/1 with Sky Bet)
It has been the epitome of a stable start for Cheltenham. 2 wins, two draws, two beats, sitting 11th at the table along with construction well beneath Michael Duff.
Stevenage scored some goals every weekend but then they couldn’t interpret that into three factors. Home win for me.
Prutton forecasts: 1-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
David Flitcroft was sacked last season after Mansfield then fell from the to Newport and failed to win promotion, so their start into the season doesn’t bode especially well for new boss John Dempster.
This may be a chance for him get them going, against a side that can not purchase a result and therefore so are currently leaking goals. Draw for me personally.
Prutton forecasts: 1-1 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
Newport are on an amazing run. It’s 16 games unbeaten in regular season games for them and they look effective at creating a marketing challenge this season.
Port Vale have picked up nine points far and it seems like they are going to have a campaign compared to their last few. But Newport needs to have much for them.
Prutton forecasts: 2-0 (17/2 with Sky Bet)
