Neymar must put up with disgruntled PSG fans, says Thomas Tuchel
Thomas Tuchel has said he cannot restrain Paris Saint-Germain supporters’ reactions to Neymar, ahead of his return on Saturday.
Marquee this summer, after pushing for a move to Barcelona Neymar is to play for PSG whatsoever this season, but the deal fell through after protracted talks.
The Brazil star can make his return to the side from Strasbourg on Saturday, also Tuchel admits he can’t impact a reception from the home crowd.
He said:”I could understand not all fans are happy with the Neymar situation and with exactly what happened.
“However, I am unable to influence the response of the fans, I cannot control them. The only thing I can control is what’s happening in my group.”
Neymar publicly pushed for a move off, and following an interview Wondering just how much he loved playing in Barca’s 6-1 embarrassment of PSG in the Champions League in 2017, he confronted hostile chants by PSG ultras and a banner urging him to’Get Lost’.
Tuchel included:”Life isn’t overly hard to get Neymar. To play Paris and to live, that is not too hard!
“If you speak all the time about everything that has been mentioned, we’ll acquire crazy, that’s not possible.
“Neymar is a PSG participant. He is available to perform. Yesterday he trained, I expect him to train well. After that, he’ll be prepared to play.
“We’re happy that the transfer window has been eventually closed. We can concentrate on ourselves.”
