Cleveland Browns’ David Njoku suffers broken wrist
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku suffered a broken wrist against the New York Jets Monday night’s game, according to reports.
He’s expected to be outside for more than a month, even however, he’s currently seeking additional medical advice.
Njoku was hurt in the first quarter of the Browns’ 23-3 success.
Because he appeared to land on his neck and head after being upended by cornerback Nate Hairston in an attempted pass from quarterback Baker Mayfield on the play, he also suffered a concussion.
He was mastered from further action after being escorted by trainers to the locker room.
After hauling in four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown from the season-opening reduction to the Tennessee 28, njoku did not make a catch in the match.
Within his third NFL season, all with the Browns, the 23-year-old from Jersey City, N.J., has career totals of 92 receptions for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns.
