Even teams may go through rough spots, so it isn’t the best thought to criticize a ball club. They are put by their 92 wins in a tie with the Yankees. The Dodgers have played one more match than the Yankees, therefore they’re at a small disadvantage at the moment. What the Dodgers have to perform in September will be stay the course, not get too comfortable.
Given their big lead in the NL West, it can be easy to get carried off and look ahead to the postseason. The Indians got comfortable last season with their lead in the AL Central and it did not translate to success in the postseason. Cleveland had the division won prior to the All-Star Game. Start looking to break from the miniature slump after getting pushed around against the Diamondbacks and get back on track at home.
Jeff Samardzija has been one of the pitchers in baseball that season. The Giants had trade bait together with him Madison Bumgarner, but they decided to continue and play out the rest of the season. Samardzija is currently coming off a dreadful outing against the Padres, allowing 9 hits and 6 earned runs contrary to the Padres.
He’s got a 4.13 ERA in his last 17.1 innings pitched. The Dodgers have scored almost that far in only 163 at-bats from Samardzija with 17 Even though the Giants have scored 20 runs against Kershaw in. I think Samardzija can continue to keep the Giants but expect the Dodgers to seize control. They look great for at least a 2-run triumph Friday night in LA..
