Storytime With Harry – The London Experience

I had a great time at London being a representative for Odds Shark while providing some material, and working with a few excellent men. On Thursday night, I met Joe Osborne, Andrew Avery, also known asNinja, Craig along with Alec in the resort and inside an hour or two we were away into the normal Liege/Arsenal soccer match.
We tried to grab a drink nearby, however, it was not really simple to enter a pub near Arsenals stadium. We discovered that first, the bouncers had to ensure you had a ticket into the game and you were not allowed in the bar then if your seats have been in the area. WOW!! ?? Though we qualified to go into, according to the 300lb Arsenal bouncers, we decided to get to the stadium and have a drink there.
The arena was amazing, and we had a drink but when the game began, we understood that the English do things that alittle different than in the USA and Canada. Alcohol was not allowed to be consumed during the match, but at halftime at the lounges around the stadium were actually giving away free beer. Yes, you heard me they gave free tap beer that we took advantage of!?? But the second half began beer wasnt permitted again to be drunk within sales and the scene . Arsenal 4-0 won the match and they scored three??in the first 25 minutes. We had a enjoyable time but that was.
The next day we did a Friday Football edition of Guys&Bets where Joe and myself gave out our locks which only happened to all win (always a good thing) while I was dunked in 48-degree temperatures only cause I felt like it.
Later that day we took the subway to Oxford Circus thats a beautiful area of London where Big Ben and the jumbo Ferris wheel is, plus a childs carousel in which Joe and I chose to be children at heart and also snapped it just for the hell of it. We return to the hotel where I believe we illegally somehow streamed the significant league baseball playoffs so that we could watch the playoffs since it was not on at any given pub, nor was soccer to allow you to know.
On Saturdaywe slid into a gambling parlor where you could wager soccer, horses, the lotto along with the NFL. I attempted to bet a parlay but apparently the ticket authors hadnt heard this term before and following it an accumulator. But they still couldnt get it right so for the whole trip I moved wagerless (what were the odds on this ).
Poor Ninja could not get lucky with his soccer plays but our movie manufacturer, Craig, was on fire with his soccer plays. Following that, as West Ham and Crystal Palace were playing with in the day we went to a pub to interview West Ham United fans. We met some characters who were diehard fans and quite pleasant people.
To begin with , we came to contact with a superfan named Perry who understood. There were a few more fans we all chatted and drank with, but a candy woman who was likewise a superfan made mine along with the men day together with her stories that are spectacular.
This womans name is Ruth and she had been a riot, to say the least. She had been a season ticket holder and traveled 6 hours roundtrip to see their home games. She proceeded to inform me she likes to wager on blackjack, blackjack, the ponies, along with her fantasy soccer and hockey leagues. I asked her if she had a bookie and she made a face at me like I asked her the dumbest question ever.
Her reply wasof course I do and also my nickname isTwat??along with his / her isTinkerbell since most of us know bookies dont go by their given names, that is gaming 101. Yesand to reiterate her nickname for him was indeedTwat. I had a couple of pints and a slew of laughs — should you just happen to read thisTinkerbell I just need to say thanks for a wonderful afternoon.
We then went into the stadium where we did another live show where Joe and I continued to give more winners along with West Ham was upset by 3-1 underdog Crystal Palace. After the game, hang with the Hammer fans and we needed to stop in the West Ham bar, Carpenters Arms for one more pint. We were hungry and no place was available so believe it or even at midnight we settled in London on a Saturday night. It had been our sole option and it really hit on the spot, although that is sort of sad.
Then the culmination of the trip occurred as we moved into Tottenham Stadium to perform a different Guys&Bets show just before seeing the Chicago Bears (Monsters of the Midway)??carry on the (Black and Silver )??Oakland Raiders.
Joe and I both gave the under in the game which we thought we had before the Bears gave up a game-winning drive, however we had a blast otherwise and ended up going a joint 9-3 ATS for the trip.
The fans at the match were in service of their preferred teams since there were different and jerseys outfits. I also wish to give a shoutout to your lover of my Against All Colors podcast, a man by the name of Jazz who recognized me (somehow??) , called out my name and asked to get a picture which was very cool. Jazz gave us a meeting in which he gamble with his heart (as most Bears fans do) rather than his mind and dropped money on an adjusted -9.5 line on Chicago.
We were lucky to view one of the games of the afternoon at an atmosphere that is electric and it was a complete joy to share that experience.
Thanks guys and OddsShark with this opportunity, where is the next excursion men?
