Canada vs Europe Game 1: Where’s the Value?

Team Canada and Team Europe would be the last teams standing in the World Cup of Hockey since they now get set to face off in a best-of-three string to ascertain who’ll wear the crown until the NHL decides the next championship will be held.
SHARK BITES
Canada conquer Europe 4-1 if they met in round-robin play, dealing Europe its only loss.
The total has gone OVER 6 at only one of Canada and Europe’s 8 games that were different.
Canada has scored 4.75 targets per game at the WCH while Europe has scored 2.5 per game.
Canada is currently coming off a win against the Russians in the semifinals in a game in which they outshot their opponents 47-34. The group that has led the game in shots would be 8-6 so far in this tournament but if you eliminate the Americans’ information from that metric, it moves to 8-3 — that the U.S. outshot their opponents in every match but went 0-3, skewing the data. Canada outshot Europe by 26 if they last met so much of the responsibility will fall on Jaroslav Halak’s shoulders, assuming he gets the start in net for Europe.
Team Europe has demonstrated pretty much everyone incorrect at this championship so far and has a opportunity to pay off people who backed them from the beginning as they once had +3300 odds to take gold and were even +1000 heading into the semis. A goalie who gets sexy can win a baseball game as I’ve said all along. Europe is offering +575 moneyline odds for Sport 1 and with the way Halak has been enjoying, I have a hard time not shooting BetOnline up on that.
Canada comes back as the -1000 favorites at the first of three potential games and, yes, they will more than likely win. I really do expect the Europeans to compete, however, and I’d just take Canada -1 or -1.5. The moneyline is offering no value at all and also the spread in 2.5 is a little too broad for me. I think this match ends 3-1 in favor of Team Canada therefore Europe +2.5 makes a lot of sense to me.
