Technician could return to France

Technician could head back to ParisLongchamp on Saturday for the Prix Royal-Oak on October 27.
The Martyn Meade-trained three-year-old colt bounced back from defeat from the William Hill St Leger to land the Group Two Prix Chaudenay on his favoured delicate ground.
Meades initial reaction was to put away Technician but the horse appears to have taken the race that the next excursion to France – that time for a Group One assignment – might be on the cards.
I was very delighted. I think he set up a wonderful performance. It revealed he loved the floor and also relished the trip also, stated the Manton handler.
I really dont believe he could have done it any easier and the manner in which he did it was really good, to mow down the opposition in the way he did.
Hes come from the race as good as ever – bucking and squealing – so thats always a wonderful sign.
My initial reaction after that he won was that he wouldnt run again, however there is yet another Group One back in Longchamp. We may consider it because he seems to be in such form.
I despise over-running him, but he has never had that many begins complete, therefore I might think about it. It was not within my mind, but the way he is looking at this time, I would have to look at it.
